The MAVBBL announced the site of the 2013 Championship Tournament and Festival which will take place on October 5th and 6th.  The Excelsior BBC of Milford will be the hosts of this year’s edition. It will take place at Brown’s Branch County Park, in Harrington, Delaware.  At least 12 clubs will be participating in this year’s event which will be the first open championship tournament in the history of the MAVBBL.  Previously, the tournament was the division champions and 3 wild card clubs.  Seedings for the tournament will be based on club’s individual overall winning percentage for the year.  As clubs lose, they go over to the Festival where they will likely play clubs they have not seen this year.  More details to follow for this  year’s event.

Next year’s Tournament and Festival will take place at Old Bethpage Restoration Village on Long Island next October.  The 2015 location will be announced later this year.
