Established: 1865
Re-Constituted: 2013
We are in the process of putting together one of the finest amatuer base ball clubs in Suburban Philadelphia in the 19th Century. The original Brandywines boasted several players who went on to play professional and major league baseball through out its history. The Brandywines were not only successful, but they also existed well in to the 20th century. The original club even played a challenge match in Shibe Park. One of the oldest pictures of a base ball club known is that of the Brandywines. They played their home matches in the Walnut Trees in West Chester.
Today, players, adminstrators, sponsors, and fans are wanted as we put the Brandywines back together. If you are interested in getting in the ground floor of this new base ball club, please contact as soon as possible. We already have a few players but are in need of more as well as umpires, scorekeepers and a lot more!
