Minerva BBC of Bridgeton

The Minerva Base Ball Club of Bridgeton, New Jersey is made up of employees of the Cumberland Mutual Insurance Company the same way it was started in 1863.  Its first game was 150 years ago on October 29, 1863 when it played the Athletic Base Ball Club of Philadelphia.  The Minerva BBC is the first 19th century base ball club to be permanently established in southern New Jersey and will compete in 2014 in the Federal Conference of the MAVBBL.  While its membership is closed to new members currently, please contact them if you have any questions.

 

Home Field: Alden Field, Bridgeton, NJ.  Travel east on Rt 49.  Make a left on West Avenue.  Make a 2nd  right on to Burt Street to the Park.

Admission Fee:  None

Parking Fee: None, plenty of free parking
