Don’t miss the first ever Gettysburg Base Ball Walk brought to you by the Steinwehr Avenue Business Improvement District.  Fun for the entire family and its absolutely free!

Come walk with 19th century base ball players as they stop at different locations on Steinwehr Avenue to tell you all about baseball the way it was played in the 1800s when it first started!  Learn about and see uniforms and equipment from the 19th century; star players and teams from 150 years ago and the evolution of the rules and the game itself from its infancy to modern times.  Along your walk your guides will entertain you with stories about 19th century base ball and if you are lucky you will even hear “Casey at the Bat!”
