The gritty Potomacs, playing with nine most of the game after Mona Lisa’s injury, fought hard in the field and at the plate each inning, to a 16-11 victory over visiting Arundel. After the top of the first, Potomac never trailed, despite several attempts by Arundel to close the gap, and Potomac always came back in the bottom of the inning.
